Physics and Chemistry Lab at the Neves Corvo Mines
Neves Corvo, Portugal
2007
The Neves Corvo mine is a zinc-copper mine located in Castro Verde, a municipality in southern Portugal. Currently the mine produces around 60 thousand tonnes of copper and 30 thousand tonnes of zinc per year.
GM Engenharia designed the HVAC systems for the mining laboratories. Chilled water air handling units associated with VAV systems were used for room pressure control in a total of 1500m² operating area.
GM has been producing mechanical systems designs since 2007. The following portfolio shows the span of different design types we can offer.
