The Construction Materials Testing Laboratory, an integral structure of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, is a laboratory unit dedicated to supporting teaching, research, development and projects related to the area of Civil Engineering. With a special focus on the study and application of construction materials, it provides modern equipment and methods for chemical, mechanical and physico-chemical analyses. Additionally, it offers support for academic and industrial projects, promoting innovation and sustainable development in the sector.

GM Engenharia designed the air conditioning, temperature and humidity control systems for the various spaces as well as the specific exhaust systems associated with laboratory equipment.
