Located in Maia, this Sogenave building plays a strategic role in the logistics and distribution of food and non-food products in Portugal. This space was designed to meet the company's operational needs, with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. It includes administrative and storage areas that use modern technologies to optimize transportation and merchandise management. The infrastructure is close to important road and rail accesses, ensuring agile and efficient logistics. The air conditioning system designed by GM has, at its heart, a 4-tube chiller system, allowing the simultaneous cooling and heating production for air conditioning systems usage. The solar orientation of this building, north/south and the presence of large glazed surfaces facing south, favors the use of systems as designed, with the transfer of excess heat on the south façade to the spaces that require heating on the north façade, with large reduction in energy consumption due to the adoption of the designed technology used.
